Privacy policy

When you fill out the contact form

The form asks for:

• Your name
• Your business name
• Your trade
• Your city or county
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your business’s revenue range
• Your message

The message is optional. Everything else is required so I can get back to you and know a little about your business before we talk. The form also notes which page you sent it from. I only get what you type in.

When you book a call

The “Book a call” link goes to a Google Calendar booking page. Google collects what that page asks for, usually your name and email, and sends me the booking. Google’s own privacy policy covers that page.

When you call or email me

I get your phone number or email address and whatever you tell me.

When you just visit

Like every website, the server that delivers this site gets basic technical information: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the time. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles that information to deliver and protect the site.

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and use it. Google Analytics uses cookies in your browser. It tells me things like how many people visited, which pages they looked at, roughly where they were, and what kind of device they used. It doesn’t tell me your name.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also use Google’s opt-out tool: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

• To answer you, by phone or email.
• To get ready for a call: look at your business, your website and your Google profile, and figure out if I can help.
• To write you a proposal if you ask for one.
• To understand how people use the site, so I can make it better.

• Me. Form submissions are emailed to me at [email protected]. I’m the only person at P2x Scales.
• The services that make the site work. The hosting company (Cloudflare), the email service provider that delivers form submissions to my inbox (Resend), and Google (for the booking page and analytics). They handle it to provide their service.
• The law. If I’m legally required to share something, like by a court order, I will.

• I don’t sell your information. Not to anyone, for any price.
• I don’t send marketing texts. Giving me your phone number doesn’t sign you up for any text list. I’ll use it to call you back about what you asked for, and that’s it.
• I don’t add you to an email newsletter unless you ask to be on one.

I keep inquiries as long as they’re useful for talking with you, and I’ll delete yours if you ask.

• See it, fix it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and tell me what you want. I’ll handle it and let you know when it’s done.
• Turn off cookies. Use your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out above.

No website or email is 100% secure, so please don’t send passwords, bank details or card numbers through the form.

This site is for business owners. It’s not meant for children, and I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If I change this policy, I’ll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
